Sorry to have this up so late. I've been away on my teaching prac, but after a reminder from Teri, I am here to set up the next challenge. Since it's quite late into July, I'll extend this into August too

This challenge is going to centre around the women of NCIS. And it is an icon(s) or wallie/blend challenge. The wallie/blend can be any size. If it is over 800x600 please make it a thumbnail. We don't want to overwork people's internet

You may use any pictures from the following galleries: (from Team NCIS)

Can you explain what you mean by "blend"?

It's been awhile since I've made wallies, but I just might give this one a try.

It's just another word for a large graphic (like a wallie).

Oh, darn. That won't work because it's not on a site like Photobucket. Hmm.

Just change the tags to bbcode:[ img] [ /img] . Take out everything to the left of the http and to the right of png.

But the image doesn't show up if you put in the image code. I tried and previewed and nothing happened. So I'm going to leave it for now.

Still learning, but here's my latest attempt. I'm not overly thrilled, I'll probably play with it later. No mouse on my laptop makes detail hard.

It's a nice closeup. Red goes well with CdP.

Not bad at all for learning, Carolyn. And I agree with Teri; red is a very nice color for her. Must be because she's Latina.

Thanks, ladies. My laptop only has a touchpad, which is a pain to use for fine detail, but I think I'm going to splurge and buy myself a drawing tablet.

It's a thumbnail since it's 1600X900 -- great for people with widescreen laptops!

I've been pondering...and finally gave it a try: didn't want to let go of the girls of NCIS.

It's bigger than it looks, so, if I did this thing correctly, you only need to click it to open up big. It should work.

Nice job Linda! That reminds me of one of my very early blends, of Lauren Holly - I used that picture.
And not to worry about being late, there's really no time limit on these challenges. It's just that when a new month comes along another challenge goes up.
