Thank you for the birthday wishes, guys. Yes, things are going well: I recently started an internship with one of the top professional theatre companies in Rhode Island, I'm enrolled in a state government program that helps people with disabilities find work, and I'm flying back to Mississippi later this week for a visit with my family to celebrate my niece's first birthday.

I apologize for just disappearing. Honestly, around the time season ten was going on, I just sorta moved on past NCIS. My tastes and standards had changed and it just didn't meet either one anymore. It'll always hold a special place in my heart and I'll still check in here every now and then, but by and large, NCIS is behind me. Most of my dedication has been in other shows (Better Call Saul, Mr. Robot, and various Netflix shows like Daredevil, House of Cards, and Stranger Things), video games (Metal Gear Solid V, Dark Souls III, Overwatch, and soon The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild), movies, etc.

Most of all, I've been focusing on my acting career, and it's paid off so far with my first two paying roles, including my first Shakespeare character (Hortensio in The Taming of the Shrew).

Who knows, though, I might drop into a live viewing thread one day, if my rehearsal schedule doesn't conflict with it. It'll be funny to see how absolutely fucking lost I am after not seeing a new episode in at least two or three years.

I've got more metal and plastic in my body than my mom does in her wallet, and it makes me awesome. 8-) 8-) 8-)

Nice to see an update! Congrats on the jobs. Have you tried your hand at writing a stage play yet?

You listed two of my current favorite shows. There's so much good television out there these days (dare I say... too much?), but sometimes, I just need a plain old network procedural to veg out to.

Matter of fact, one of the characters I played in my most recent show was my first onstage death (one of the nobles who gets killed at the end of The Revenger's Tragedy). I've died offstage on two other occasions (as Sergeant Carlino in Wait Until Dark and as Boxer in Animal Farm).

I wrote a ten minute one act play in my first semester of community college about an independent pro wrestling promotion's booker trying to convince the promoter to push a mid-carder as their top guy. You can read it here. Apart from that, I've got an idea that I just don't have the backbone to try and put to the page yet. It's really, really personal.
